Jeffrey's creating quite a pickle

Jeffrey has been begging for a couple of weeks now to make pickles from the cukes we have growing in our garden. We finally got it done. We had enough cukes to make one jar of pickles from this recipe I found. The great thing was that it only took about 10 minutes start to finish to get it done. Jeffrey really enjoyed getting a chance to do all the "work"!

Ready to get started.

First, he sliced up the cukes....

He needed some leverage to get the garlic through the garlic press, so he hopped up on the counter.

Shovin' in the dill...

Jeffrey then got called away to a Nerf war, so I added the water and salt to the jar....

Now they sit on the counter for two days, then we can refrigerate and then eat 'em up!! They look great...can't wait to see how they taste!

Yummy! Let me know how the recipe is. We should have some cukes at some point this summer. That looks about as easy as canning gets!
